1. The requirements for the usage parameters of turbine flow meters stipulate that the usage parameters of turbine flow meters must strictly match the characteristics of the medium, working conditions, and installation requirements, with the core being to ensure measurement accuracy and instrument life. 1. Medium adaptation parameters • Liquid medium: viscosity should be ≤ 50mm ²/s, and it must be calibrated with real liquid when it is higher than 5 × 10 ⁻⁶ m ²/s. Corrosive liquids must be used for instruments made of 316L or Hastelloy materials. • Gas medium: must be clean and dry, with impurities or easily condensable gases requiring the installation of precision filters, and not suitable for dirty media

2. Matching parameters for working conditions • Flow range: Liquid measurement should be maintained within the range of 10% -90%, gas is recommended to be 20% -80%, to avoid low flow rate failure or high flow rate wear. • Pressure and temperature: The working pressure and temperature should not exceed the rated value of the instrument (refer to the product manual for details, such as the common upper pressure limit of 1.6-6.4MPa). • Pipeline diameter: It must be consistent with the instrument diameter, and the length of the variable diameter section must be ≥ 10 times the pipe diameter when changing diameter

3. Accuracy and installation parameters • Accuracy level: Measurement level uses ≤± 0.5% FS, and industrial control can choose ± 1% FS. • Straight pipe section requirements: front straight pipe section 10D-15D (D is the pipe diameter), rear straight pipe section 5D, to ensure stable laminar flow of the fluid. Installation position: Horizontal or vertical installation (fluid from bottom to top), avoi

ding the highest point (gas gathering) and lowest point (slag accumulation) of the pipeline. • Pipeline docking: Requires stress free installation, gasket inner diameter ≥ pipeline inner diameter and must not protrude into the pipeline

4. Output and environmental parameters • Signal output: Select pulse, 4-20mA or HART protocol according to system requirements. Explosion proof requirements: Explosion proof/intrinsic safety type (such as Ex d IIC T6) should be selected for explosive environments. Temperature adaptation: Insulation or heating kits should be selected for low-temperature environments, and expansion joints should be installed for high-temperature media to relieve thermal stress. (Note: Some pressure and temperature ratings may vary depending on the specific model, please refer to the latest product manual.)

2. What are the measurement ranges of turbine flow meters?

1、 Turbine flowmeter is based on the electromagnetic induction generated by the rotation of turbine blades inside the flowmeter to measure the flow rate. It can measure both liquids and gases, and is very sensitive. The diameter for measuring liquids is generally DN4- DN200, and for measuring gases it is generally DN20- DN300;

2、 Turbine flowmeter measures liquids with a very small diameter and good economy. The units are generally m3/h (cubic meter/hour), L/min (liter/base silver minute), etc. It has instantaneous flow display and cumulative flow display;

3、 The measurement range corresponding to different diameters of turbine flow meters is: liquid measurement: (unit of measurement: m3/h): DN4: 0.04--0.25; DN6:0.1---0.6; DN10:0.2---1.2; DN15:0.6---6; DN20:0.8---8; DN25:1---10; DN32
