1. Use of Metal Tube Float Flow Meter
When using a metal tube float flow meter, the following points should be noted: Precautions for first-time use. When using a metal tube float flow meter for the first time, due to the lack of pressure in the pipeline, if the valve suddenly opens, the float in the instrument will be damaged due to the impact of rapidly rising airflow or liquid flow. Therefore, the valve must be slowly opened to ensure that the float rises smoothly to the working position. Damping device for anti float vibration measures: Instruments measuring gases need to be equipped with damping devices on the measuring components of the wheel to reduce float vibration and ensure stable readings. Installation of throttling components: If the float still vibrates, throttling components (such as orifice plates or valves) need to be installed in the pipeline to reduce the vibration amplitude by adjusting the fluid flow rate. For instruments with a diameter of less than 25mm, a filter needs to be installed upstream to prevent impurities (such as particles and dirt) from entering the flowmeter, avoiding float blockage or measurement channel blockage, affecting accuracy, and even damaging the instrument. Installation of gas flowmeter and position of regulating valve: The regulating valve of the gas flowmeter should be installed at the outlet of the instrument, and the flow rate should be regulated by controlling the outlet pressure to avoid uneven force on the float caused by direct adjustment at the inlet.
